I met this delightful lady at Heritage Park in Calgary Alberta - a park that is a recreation of the great west and all its history. She was so full of stories I visited her for over two hours. The painting was just a way to honor her but also to face the lighting challenge. The sun was super bright so the shadows weren't very dark under the porch with all the bounce light happening and I found that to be a tough challenge.
