Self Portrait With Reflections

This self portrait was created from a mirror and a window of reflective glass behind me. It pays homage to influences on my growth as an artist. The silhouettes of the elephant and camel that hang in my studio-are pieces from masonite my father made for me to trace around when I was five years old. The figure in the background whispering in my ear is my own reflection in the window, and represent my great grandmother, grandmother and aunt who were all involved in the arts.
