“Ripple Effects”, 9 x 12 oil on linen panel was started en plein air at Jetton Park at Lake Norman, North Carolina. Inspired by the ripples in the water and the dramatic reflection of the last, lingering cloud overhead as the sky cleared, I reflected on where those ripples originated and how, we too, incidentally touch one another by ripple effects every day.
