This is a plein air painting done exclusively with a palette knife at one of my favorite locations in the Garrapata State Park along Highway One 10 miles or so south of Carmel-By-The Sea, California. The scene is a partial view of the Rocky Creek Bridge on Highway One just past Rocky Point and some of the cattle that graze below Rocky Point. This Bridge is partially closed as I enter this image due to heavy rain collapsing part of the roadway before the bridge. Hopefully, the extensive repairs that are necessary will be completed soon!
