Aberystwyth Pier

The rocky shore and textured sand was my inspiration in this painting. I used a roller to lay a surface of different colours and textures in Acrylic. As the drying time is quite fast I am able to also add texture through cutting back and using repeated layers. I used a squeegee to draw in the Pier very illusively.
