Cross Mountain Sunset

My husband was working near this spot and I asked to go to the top of the mountain to catch a glimpse of the sunset. We got there just in time to see the most spectacular view. I tried to capture it in my minds eye and took a couple of cell phone photos that did not do it justice. There was so much depth and beauty. In the following weeks, I applied under paintings, layers and glazes to fill the canvas with as much of the beauty as I could possibly capture.
